Import from Excel

Hi,

Can I import bibliographies from Excel to Zotero ?

    Depends -- it's never going to be ideal (Excel is not a data format, it's just a file type), but there are possible solutions. How exactly is that information entered? What type of literature (just books, just articles, a mix?) Do they include ISBNs? DOIs?

    I have a few bibliographies entered with the usual categories, Title, Author, Publisher, etc. No ISBN. And yes both Books and articles plus some other (thesis, chapter of collective book, etc.).

    I think the most promising and fairly low-tech solution is outlined here:
    https://forums.zotero.org/discussion/25120/importing-from-excel-to-zotero/ (move a couple of posts down). It's not entirely trivial, though, so your mileage may vary.
