Websites save, but not pdfs.

When I have a website open, there is an option to save the website to zotero at the right of the bar you type the website, but when I have a pdf open (as a website), there is not an option to save to zotero. Ideas?

    that's in Chrome, right? There are plans to get a proper icon that appears for PDFs, too, but until then you can use one of these three options:
    a) save the PDF to the harddisk and then drag it to Zotero
    b) drag and drop the URL into Zotero
    c) save the item to a folder that you have specified as the ZotFile watch folder and then attach it or add it via ZotFile functionality (that's www.zofile.com)
