JSTOR saves URL with proxy address

The JSTOR translator saves my institution's proxy address in the URL field (e.g., http://www.jstor.org.ezproxy.library.institution.edu/stable/2712869). Is this the intended functionality, or should the translator pull the direct link without ".ezproxy.library.institution.edu"? The latter would appear to make more sense for the longevity of the citation.

it should remove the proxy, but I think that's something to be fixed at a higher level of abstraction, i.e. in the Zotero translator/proxy code rather than in the translator. I could be wrong, though, so if you see something in the code, by all means point it out.

I have the same problem...
What should I do to fix this problem ? where is the Zotero translator /proxy code and what should I check ?

@smteinturs: Do you have a proxy entry in your connector preferences, and is there an entry for the domain of the URL you're trying to save?

If so, can you provide a Debug ID from the connector for loading the page and saving it?
