Biography

Under the ADD New Item how about a Biography form? Containing Fields like Birth and death, location, Major Accomplishments, Life story? Or if not that then the ability to create forms like a biography and load them under the New Menu

Apparently it's a planned feature to allow users to define their own item types, but the implementation is probably still quite far off. I don't think a biography item will be included by default, as the information in the fields you list usually aren't included in formatted bibliographies (if you cite a biography, you most often would use the book or book chapter item types).

Outside of the conversation about creating item types there is also a conversation about author/person items that speaks to what your interested in.
