Upgrade StorageUnable to switch display from footnotes to endnotes
Hello,
The references in one of my Word documents are in the Chicago style, footnotes display mode, but my editor wants me to switch to endnotes display.
After I open "set document preferences" and change the "display citations as" from footnotes to endnotes, Zotero refreshes the references (I see my Word repetitively "blinking") without however making any change to the display.
I end up with the same footnotes at the end of the process, which takes quite a while (about 20min) since there are 700 references to refresh. I don't understand why endnotes are not created when I choose this option in "display citations as".

adamsmithHave you tried switching from Footnotes to Endnotes with Word instead? Whether Zotero is able to do this depends on how exactly you created the footnotes, but using Word should always work.
