Serious Style error: BMC journals overall (at least BMC Bioinformatics)
hello,
so the biomedcentral documentation indicates a new style for BMC journals - I am guessing this is linked to Springer owning them (correct?).
Anyways, their instructions to authors clearly indicate this and current recent articles on BMC Bioinformatics use this new style.
This style is similar to, but different from, AMA style.
I looked at recent BMC Bioinformatics articles and saw that, yes, the "new style" is one used (the style listed in current information for authors; see below).
If you know of another journal that uses the listed BMC style, please tell me. I want to submit a paper ASAP.
see this link for current style - examples are listed!

This style is quite close - the only thing that I notice (without checking in detail every permutation of things) is that the URL reference style is not right for BMC journals.
I have a few URL references, but I can manually reformat them.
Thanks much again.
I strongly suggest that zotero update the BMC format(s) - even just a quick add of one called something like "BMC journals (2016 new)" would be very helpful. As you indicate, it is quite similar to other styles, so this should not be hard for someone who knows this stuff (I don't).
Indeed it looks that the url formatting is wrong in the Springer Vancouver style. It should be like: @adamsmith: I checked the Key Style Points 1.0 at page 12.
