Upgrade StoragePlans to be able to sync snapshot highlights and annotations?

Note to folks getting into annotating and highlighting snapshots: The current annotation/highlighting system will be overhauled in a future version of Zotero. Existing annotations and highlights do not, and will not, sync in Zotero 1.5.

Just checking- is this a currently flagged up issue? Being able to sync highlights and annotations would really boost the usefulness of zotero.
I'm in hospital today, looking at some papers I saved at home over the weekend. I had extensively annotated and highlighted the snapshots in zotero, and to be able to continue that work at my new location would be very useful.
