How to enter notes and comments into zotero

I'm trying to use chicago manual of style and in addition to entering citations, also need to make comments and notes on the text. How do I do this? Also, for the citations, I need to enter page numbers for some of the citations (ie. author, title, blah blah, page 34 and next citation would be: ibid. page 43. ) how do I do that?

For the notes -- if they belong to a citation/referenced item, just use prefix and suffix as explained in that link. If they're entirely separate notes, you can just use your word processors footnote function.

Concerning documentation in general: Is there a way of downloading all of the documentation so as to have it on hand when needed? Or are there just too many changes made to the programme to make that feasible?

I don't think so, no. That's one of the reason Rintze and I are working on doing this in book form, though that's stagnated a bit. I still want to finish it, though.
