Bookmarklet : want metadata w/out pdf & snapshots ?

I fear that the answer is no. Is there a way to control bookmarklet behavior to -not- automatically download pdf and snapshot files?

correct, the answer is no. I'd be nice if the Bookmarklet saw a bit more love. It's also too bad you can't pick collections.

"can't pick collections": meaning can't choose a destination collecton? That seems to be the case, which is unfortunate. So where does the item go?

The bookmarklet items land in the main user library. If viewed using the default sort-by-date, the items are at the top of the list. I bring bookmarklet items into my local Zotero client through a sync and manage their placement into a collection. While it would be nice to be able to select the collection where each bookmarklet item should go, I would settle for the bookmarklet items to go into a special bookmarklet collection. I believe having them in a collection of their own would facilitate item classification into appropriate collections.
