Problems following use of Live Sync
I have tried to use Live Sync to link Zotero on my work desktop computer and my personal laptop. When I tried it I got an error message to the effect that there were too many files and folders in the existing Data Directory for Live Sync to work.
As it was an experiment, I selected zotero.sqlite as a file to see if it could be synchronised with Live Sync. The synchronization went well, until I discovered that I had been running Live Sync in Firefox on both machines. As there are many warnings about closing Firefox before copying Zotero files, I am concerned that I may have done some damage to the database - I cannot find it on the laptop. How can I recover from this? It is further complicated by the fact the desktop machine is running XP (SP3) and the laptop is running Vista Business!
