Transform Zotero Citations into Plain Word Footnotes?
Hello,
Is there a way to transform Zotero citations into plain word footnotes? I want to send an article to a journal and I believe it would be easier for editors to work with citations that are not dependent on the software. Or do I need to this manually, i.e. create each footnote individually and copy-paste the content of the Zotero citation by "keep(ing) text only"?
Thanks,
Jonathan

adamsmithThat's what the "Remove Zotero Field Codes" button in the Word add-on does. (Make sure to keep a copy of the file with field codes intact for later revisions)

bwiernikIn the Zotero toolbar in Word, there is a button labeled Remove Zotero Codes that does exactly what you want. It's probably a good idea to save this a separate copy so you can go back to the original later if needed.
