Import from Cochrane Library

Hi. Is there a way to import citations from the Cochrane Library(http://www.cochranelibrary.com/)? The given export format options are PC/Unix or Linux/Mac. Choosing PC, the citations are exported as a .txt file, which is incompatible with Zotero. Can you please advise?
  • The Save to Zotro icon works just fine for me on Chochrane, does it not for you?

Their export format is bizarre, we indeed do not support that.
  • Thanks Adam

I can't find a 'save to Zotero' icon on the Cochrane website. Can you pls help me find it?

    Thanks
  • It's not on the website. It's the item you would generally use to import into Zotero:
    https://www.zotero.org/support/getting_stuff_into_your_library#web_translators
  • I'm restricted to Explorer. Am I able to add the 'save to Zotero' icon to my web pages?
  • You can try
    https://www.zotero.org/downloadbookmarklet
And see if that works -- good chance it will. That gives you (to the extent it does work) the equivalent of the save to Zotero function. It will work better with Standalone open, but should also work saving directly to the server. Let me know how that goes.
