syncing full text

I have installed zotero on a new computer, and did a "restore from zotero server" reset (obviously I have an account). The library structure was indeed restored with all the entries' but the files themselves, mostly PDF files, were not.
How can I get the files themselves from the server to my new computer?

(Note, also, that there's no need to use Restore from Zotero Server on a new computer. Just syncing is sufficient.)
