I couldn't save the articles I want on webpages to zotero

steps:
1 right-clicked the webpage
2 left-click "save page to zotero"

shows "This item could not be saved because Zotero Standalone is not open or unreachable. Please open Zotero Standalone and try again." at down right corner of my screen

    the extension is enabled, but I cannot see it on the tool bar,

    no, you actually need to have Zotero Standalone, which is a piece of software, installed and opened to be able to save webpages (you can save some other supported sites directly to the server, but not plain webpages).

    standalone is unavailable.

    did you see my post above? You need Standalone installed and running. Please confirm that that's the case, otherwise this isn't going to work.
