Some downloaded PDFs lack .pdf extension
Sometimes, when Zotero automatically downloads PDFs as part of adding a citation, the files don't end with the .pdf extension (or indeed, any extension). Therefore, double-clicking on the file in Zotero opens my default text editor and the file displays as gibberish.
If I choose "Show file" and fix the ending, it then opens correctly in my PDF reader, (but I have to re-drag the new file into Zotero to get it to link properly).
Is there a way to get Zotero to append .pdf to the end of PDFs?
Mac OS 10.5.6, Zotero Sync
Thanks,
CB

adamsmithwould probably help if you specify for which sites/translators this happens.
