Does Zotero Word plug in only work with Firefox?

I have a plug in for my Microsoft word but I usually use chrome. I keep getting an error message which says it can't find firefox whenever I try to cite something. Does it only work with firefox rather than chrome?

    The message is wrong, what it means to say is that you need Zotero open: either in Firefox or Standalone. Do you have Standalone open as you're trying to cite?
