Upgrade StorageMigrating from One Computer to another
I have been running Zotero on an old Mac Book Pro, running snow leopard, and have changed to an Imac running el Capitan.
What is the best way of transferring this - Do I just copy across the directory tree under /Users/<username>/Library/Application Support/Firefox/Profiles/<randomstring>/zotero per instructions in docs...?? this doesnt seem accurate, as there dont appear to be any zotero directories under that hierarchy - there are under /applcation support/zotero/ Anything else need to change - I am presuming that the files under that hierarchy are all of the original fies that I imported as such - I am also thinking of starting with a fresh install and import the files one at a time - i am also looking to create a box.com webdav backup at the same time, so probably don't want to overwhelm it which a huge number of syncs...

Either method works. If you want to copy the data directory, you should use "Show Data Directory" in Zotero to find the current data directory as well as the location to copy it to. The path may be hidden and/or it may differ from the one above e.g. for a Standalone-only installation.
