How to handle duplicate items in Zotero Groups?

I am a long-time user of Zotero, but I am new to using Zotero groups. I am wondering how to handle (ie detect and merge) duplicate items that are stored in group folders. I assume there is a technical limitation that prevents the inclusion of the "duplicates" collection that exists in My Library from existing for Groups, so I am wondering if there are workarounds or how others handle this situation.

    No technical limitations. You can Show Duplicates by right-clicking on the group library in question.
