Importing databases from Reference Manager

I am having difficulties importing and existing Reference Manager database into sync 1.5 preview version of zotero. I have exported the database from Reference Manager as an RIS output format and when trying to import this I get the following error:

'An error occurred while trying to import the selected file. Please ensure that the file is valid and try again'

I have tried importing single and multiple references, but I get the same error each time. Does anyone have any suggestions?
