Problems with ScienceDirect

I always get a "Could Not Save Item" error when trying to save article references from ScienceDirect. I am logged-in to the site, via Athens, and can access articles successfully. An example URL is:

I am using Zotero v. 1.0.9 and Firefox 3.0.5. Other translators (e.g. PubMed) are working fine. I have checked my translators are up to date and checked database integrity.
  • Try disabling your other Firefox extensions. Based on your error report, I'd start with the RealPlayer Browser Record Plugin extension (which is listed as incompatible).
  • Thanks for that Dan, I'll try it out. My apologies, I missed the incompatibilities. I've seen now that Norton's "Identity Safe" is also listed incompatible which gives me something else to try out. I'll let you know what happens.
  • OK I disabled RealPlayer and Norton's Identity Safe - I'm particularly missing the Norton's features now :( Still no luck with Zotero & ScienceDirect.
