Checkbox for 'read' and 'unread' sources
It would be great if a checkbox feature could be added next to citations to make it possible to indicate which documents have been read and which still needed reading. It would be good if this could then be filtered so that it was possible to view a list of 'read' or 'unread' documents/ citations.
If this also included a traffic-light type indicator which highlighted the importance of different documents (through their respective citation) this would be even more useful. This seems similar to the function in email servers where you can highlight read/ unread/ needs attention/ level of importance etc. but I am not sure how difficult this would be to implement? Thanks very much.

Just create tags for read, unread, must read, skim, reread, must close read, or whatever other reading related tag you feel is relevant to your particular workflow.
Here are four reasons I like doing this with tags over adding a new feature,
1. Functionality is already there, no waiting for a new feature.
2. The flexibility of tags allows for support of a diversity of workflows. You get the set of tags that you need, I get the set I need.
3. Layer these tags into advanced/saved searches and you can automatically see all your must read tags faceted by any other data point. For example, your must read articles, your must read items in your hamlet collection, your must read items tagged work.
