Bug Report: 954638309 Item list freezes
Zotero version 4.0.28.7
Bug Report ID 954638309.
Associated Debug IDs: D1986480326 and D1706735712.
Reported error: "[JavaScript Error: "TypeError: this._getItemAtRow(...) is undefined" {file: "chrome://zotero/content/xpcom/itemTreeView.js" line: 1138}]"
Short-description: Item window appears frozen, but is still responsive. It appears as though I cannot select any items, except that the record window will change, as though nothing is wrong.
To reproduce this bug, do a search using the quick search box such that you get more than one window's length of results. Go to the end of the results list and start a multiple selection with it and at least the item above it. Once selected, press shift and the left arrow key, as though you were going to collapse the attachment lists of those two (or more) entries (which is what I was trying to do). And presto-change-o no more-o! The items list window will now be frozen.
Go ahead and click on a different collection folder as you will at least get to see the first window's length of records, but the list appears otherwise unresponsive. You can scroll, and the scrollbar will even move (!), but the list remains frozen. The item record window is normal, as though you were not navigating blindly.
There are other ways to reproduce this bug, such as with "select-all" or any other multiple selection effort that includes the last entry in a search result. Sometimes this will happen with the list of item records for some collection.
