adding Vol no. to a standard citation style
Hello,
I am a recent user of Zotero and I am grateful for this excelent tool!
Could you please help me with this issue: I have selected from Zotero style repository the citation style specific to the JCMM. When receiving the proof PDF for review of the paper submitted I was asked to provide the volume number for each reference (although the specific citation style includes only DOI).
My questions are:
1. the citation style for this paper provided by Zotero is correctly/recently updated?
2. how can I edit this specific citation style to include the volume number?
Many thanks for your support!

If you only want to show volume, pages for an article and not showing the doi, then you can delete the doi information (maybe make sure you still have a url).
If you want to show volume, (pages), and the DOI, then you have to edit the citation style. Moreover, it would be good to know for others as well.
In my reference list I used Zotero style repository for JCMM.
The format displayed is:
Yeager M, Orr N, Hayes RB, et al. Genome-wide association study of prostate cancer identifies a second risk locus at 8q24. Nat. Genet. 2007; DOI: 10.1038/ng2022
The querie received from Wiley online proofing system is "please provide volume number for references"
At this moment (proof reading) I probably need to add volume number mannually but in the future I think it will be good to have a correlation beween citation style and author guidelines.
The updated version will appear on the repository within 30mins (check the timestamp). Update your copy of the style by clicking "Update Now" in the General tab of the Zotero preferences.
Styles also update automatically within 24hs for Zotero 4.0+
In an existing document, you may have to switch to a different style and back for the changes to take effect once the style is updated.
Any further problems please let us know & thanks for reporting
(@zuphilip -- the style never printed volume/pages when a DOI was present; that's clearly wrong. I've reversed this: now the style only prints a DOI when there is no volume or pages. That's our standard approach to epub)
