Hanging on Firefox Portable

Zotero extension works normal here with Firefox 41.0.1 & Win 10 64 bit. On the other hand it causes hangings (non responsive situation) on Firefox portable, which occurs often and repeatedly, for several seconds each time.

Could you please help me solve this?

You could try submitting a debug output: https://www.zotero.org/support/debug_output
but I'd expect this to be an issue with disk access&latency times.

Bug report number: 756927730

This is a USB 3.0 flash disk. Firefox becomes frozen for several seconds quite often. Without Zotero enabled, it works flawlessly.

That's a Report ID — we need a Debug ID for performance issues. This is likely simply due to the speed of reading or writing the flash disk, though.
