Transfer local copy of old Webdav storage to a new server
I used to have a Webdav server with Zotero. I had configured Zotero to only keep attachments on the server. My references were and are kept in Zotero's sync service and they are probably intact, thankfully.
One day I needed to shut down the server and saved a local backup of the webdav directory on the server. I still have that directory and I want to transfer that directory to my new server.
I copied the contents of the directory to my new webdav server but Zotero did not recognize the attachments when I clicked on them.
This directory (old webdav backup directory) contains only files with zip and prop file extensions and no directory. Files have names like "2DEXXMXB".
I am using a different Firefox profile now but I have a backup of one of my old profiles with Zotero installed. I checked old profile's file and directory structure and see that pkxxxxdu.default\zotero\storage has many folders with names like "2DEXXMXB". So, it seems different than my Webdav backup's structure, where there are no subfolders.
My guess is my current Zotero installation lacks of metadata of these attachments. I wonder if I can take that data from my old profile directory, if my guess is correct.
Could you please tell me what am I doing wrong, or am I doing anything right?
Thank you.

If the attachments are showing up in your current Zotero installation (i.e. you see them, but can't open them) Zotero does have the metadata and I don't see what benefit using the old profile would have.
I would think you should be able to unzip all .zip files from your webDAV and place the extracted folders (and I think those would be folders) into zotero/storage if everything else fails, but I'm not certain about that.
