Doesn't auto add accessed date

When I use the plug in for safari to add a web page or journal article the date added field is filled in and the url, but not the date accessed field. I figured out that if i don't manual add an accessed date it will leave the Retrieved from ..... out of the APA citation.

Any suggestions?

    That's surprising, though I can't test on Safari right now -- could you say how exactly you're adding the webpage?

    If you have any Zotero add-ons installed, try disabling those, see if that makes a difference.

    (Workaround wise, Zotero understands "today" (without quotation marks) in the date added field. That will speed up manual entry for you, though of course you shouldn't have to be doing that at all).

    Hi Adam,

    I just click the little icon in the safari menu to download the reference to my data base and it auto down loads with out an opportunity to designate the type of source or any preferences. I do use the safari extension so that the zotero icon appears in the browser menu, but I don't have any add-ons for zotero.

    could you provide a debug ID from Zotero Standalone _and_ from the Safari connector for an import that doesn't save an accessed date? Also post the URL you're importing from here.
