Code appearing when inserting a citation

Hello, I am trying to support a student who has downloaded the most recent version of Zotero for Firefox. She has a mac on Yosemite 10.10 and is running the most updated version of Firefox: 41.0.1. The Zotero download is 4.0.28.7 (which, I think, is the most recent).

When she inserts a citation this is what she sees: https://goo.gl/tbZ1NY

that link is behind your campus proxy, but I'd assume those are just field codes shown in Word. Pressing alt+F9 (or alt+FN+F9 depending on your settings) will hide them again.
