Upgrade StorageManually searching for citation information
Is it possible for Zotero to search google scholar etc. based on partial bibliographic data that I manually fill in. The scenario I have in mind is as follows:
I use pdf metadata search which is unable to find bibiographic information. I manually create a parent item for that pdf and fill in either the Title of the article or the ISBN number. Then Zotero attempts to locate the rest of the bibliographic information automatically through usual sources. (Mendeley seems to have this functionality).
This will greatly ease the population of bibliographic information for PDFs that are not OCRed etc.

adamsmithgenerally planned, not currently possible, though you can, of course, just search by the ISBN (or DOI) in the magic wand/add by identifier window and then attach the PDF.
