No error Syncing but I cannot access to files

Hi, I've recently installed Zotero in a Lenovo ThinkPad and introduced the required information for syncing both Zotero Server and files. For syncing files I use 4shared. The folder "Zotero" containing the files was created using another computer and some time ago. Now, I click on the green arrow and it seems like everything is working well. But not, when I try to open the files I receive a message saying that the files couldn't be found. The sync with Zotero is fine because I see the references perfectly.

Any help would be appreciated.

Thanks a lot, Dan. Considering that I cannot open the files and I am not able to follow the instructions because Computer A is literally in another country, I would like to add the pdf files to each reference once again. Once the job is done I would go for Zotero Storage and upload all files. In the institution where I work there is access to journals so it wouldn't be a problem to retrieve the files using the references that I already have.

So the question is if there is a tool for adding the pdf files only. I would be also great to be able to do it for several references at once.

Hope it is understandable what I attempt to do.

there's no convenient way of (re)downloading PDFs for items at this point, no.
You'd have to go to the journal pages, download the PDFs and attach them manually.

Generally planned, but not going to be any time soon.
