When editing abstract, initial click selects all

Is there a setting so that when I click in the abstract to make a minor edit, the entire text is not selected? I must carefully click X2 to have the cursor in the appropriate place with no test selected.

    At least for me, that's the same setting on all fields. Useful for copy&paste, but I'd agree that on balance it's an inconvenience.
    Don't know how hard that's to change, though. Some of that behavior is coded pretty solidly into xul.

    I don't think we want to change this. You don't get a text insertion cursor until you click, and I think it would be strange to have the point at which you clicked the regular mouse cursor affect where the edit cursor ended up.
