Click on the arrow down, to choose the method for saving and in the case here the second one with "Embedded Metadata" works fine.

Using the extension in Chrome, there does not seem to be an arrow down.

correct, that's Firefox only. Zotero picks up a DOI that's not registered in CrossRef. There isn't much we can do about this at the moment. See 7 here for a bit more detail: https://www.zotero.org/support/troubleshooting_translator_issues
but note that you don't need to run through any troubleshooting: we know that this doesn't work and why.
