Trouble saving style preference

When trying to switch styles in the Preferences > Cite > Styles setting, the selection won't "stick." Thus, when I drag a parent item to a document, it remains in whatever the default style is.

Using firefox add-on.

I've restarted, removed and re-added the add-on. No dice.

Am I missing something?

The style for drag& drop is set under export-> default output style. Cite styles just manages installed styles
