Chicago Manual author-date WITHOUT brackets

Hello dear Zotero community,

I cite in footnotes, not brackets within floating text. I'd like to have the author and the date, with possible a-b-c in case of duplication in my footnotes.

The full info should stand in my bibliography that I'd like to put at the end.

But I always have the brackets in my footnotes, and I didn't manage to edit the style properly. When I delete the >> prefix="( << and the >> suffix=") << from date and author and then save the style, I can't import it into zotero since it gives me the error of that file not being a "valid style".

Help? Please? Its a bit urgent, I have to hand in my MA dissertation on Friday :<

Thank you people a LOT in advance - Zotero already saved me hours and hours of micromanagment.
