pdf files not downloading automatically when using proxy
After a few months break I have recently taken up work again and noticed that when I use Zotero via my university proxy, it won't download pdf files to the library anymore the way it used to. I have tried several databases (e.g. PMC, Wiley, HighWire, ScienceDirect) Springerlink) and found that the problem occurs on any database I try to acces. The metadata will download normally, Zotero tries to download pdf but failes (red X appears).
I have read the other threads on similar problems but none of the suggestions there seem to work. System is up to date, I am using Firefox 40.0 and Zotero Add-on version 4.0.28.
I have tried updating translators and restarting browser. However, the translators seem to work well and recognize sites even with proxy (hovering the mouse over ther zotero button will show e.g. "HighWire", not "Embedded Metadata").
Turning off the proxy fixes the problem for PMC, but since many articles are not open acces, this isn't a very practical solution. Neither is travelling to campus daily.
Any help will be much appreciated!

None of the extensions I use caused the problem, I had already tried that. Turns out I had 'accept third party cookies' disabled. Sounds like something I maybe should have found out myself...
Anyway, thanks a lot! Now back to work with much more motivation!
