reverting to official version from dev build

How does one revert to the official version of zotero from the dev version, without of course, compromising the bibliography.

    Wait for 1.0.8, which will be out shortly, and switch over at that point.

    No, you're on a dev download track. When 1.0.8 is released (which will likely be this week), you'll need to manually install 1.0.8 from the front page over your current version.
