References not cited in text apear in bibliography!

I am writing an essay and I re-used a file previously used for another essay on a different topic, because I liked the way it was formatted and some information (student ID etc.) was the same. I deleted all the old text and refreshed bibliography, which was empty at that point. Now, after writing a couple pages of my essay and inserting some (relevant) citations I found that four positions from my previous work are in the bibliography. I am positive there are no citations left as all text was deleted. However, they come back after each Zotero refresh. In fact I removed the bibliography completely and inserted it again - with same effect.

How to get right of those?

(Using Word and Zotero plugin)

EDIT:

Toggled codes and see Zotero bibliography as follows:

ADDIN ZOTERO_BIBL {"uncited":[["http://zotero.org/users/1186781/items/EWSZXBDN"],["http://zotero.org/users/1186781/items/D4GG2S6S"],["http://zotero.org/users/1186781/items/95HCU3WQ"],["http://zotero.org/users/1186781/items/ZXH7FT2U"]],"custom":[]} CSL_BIBLIOGRAPHY

I believe those "uncited" entries are the culprits. How do I get rid of them?!?
