can't make zotero browser pane smaller

I am using zotero for firefox.
Zotero version 4.0.27.5
Firefox version 39
Windows 8

I pulled the zotero browser pane close to the top of my firefox frame in order to see more library entries. Now, I am unable to pull the browser pane down, and as a result I can only see a sliver of my firefox frame. The zotero pane is stuck in this position which makes it impossible to work.

Does anyone know what I can do to fix this?

    If you pulled the tag selector in the bottom left up, drag it down first, and then you should be able to shrink the Zotero pane.
