How to Identify New Citations

I ran a search string in PubMed last year and saved it as a collection in Zotero. I recently re-ran the search string, and I would like to generate a list of the new citations. How would I go about identifying the non-duplicates between the two collections?
  • You could use duplicate detection and then tagging to filter such list. Assuming your original and new lists are imported into separate collections, I would assign a tag to all items in both lists (use color tags and the corresponding keyboard shortcut), open the "Duplicate Items" collection, select all items (Ctrl/Cmd+A), and remove the tag from those items (by pressing the keyboard shortcut twice: once to add to all, and second time to remove from all). Now, if you go back to the original or new item collection, the items with the tag assigned will be non-duplicate.
