Error message: Make sure the path and file name are correct
Report ID: 1280748962
I use Zotero Standalone with Chrome (version 43.0.2357.132) for my Windows 7 operating system.
The problem: When attempting to open Zotero Standalone I was given a prompt that the filename is not valid and would I like to delete the shortcut? When looking at the properties from the desktop icon I get "make sure the path and file name are correct".
Background / What I may have done to cause this: I closed a PDf and was asked if I wanted to save changes (I had highlighted some text using Nitro Pdf reader). The Pdf is attached to a Zotero entry, but I had already closed Zotero when prompted to save. I saved, then shut down the computer.
Other info: The desktop icon was also no longer a red "Z", it looked like a menu of some sort. I went ahead and deleted the shortcut. Attempting to open Standalone via the shortcut was how to "reproduce the problem" - I'm not sure how else to open Standalone at all now.
Error message from Chrome>Settings>Extensions>Options:
[JavaScript Error: "Attempting to use a disconnected port object" {file: "extensions::messaging" line: 70}]
[JavaScript Error: "getTranslators: detection is already running" {file: "chrome-extension://ekhagklcjbdpajgpjgmbionohlpdbjgc/zotero/translation/translate.js" line: 1023}]
[JavaScript Error: "getTranslators: detection is already running" {file: "chrome-extension://ekhagklcjbdpajgpjgmbionohlpdbjgc/zotero/translation/translate.js" line: 1023}]
Thank you for any help you can provide!

Upgrade Storage
And my apologies if these are stupid questions, but:
1) Does reinstalling mean to both first uninstall it and then go through the "Download Now" process from the Zotero website?
2) Should I make any changes to my settings in the website prior to the reinstallation in order to preserve what's stored, etc.?
From my Control Panel I'm informed that an error occurred during uninstall and that "it may have already been uninstalled". Interestingly I see that along with a couple of other files "zotero.exe" was tagged "Suspicious.Cloud.9" and quarantined by my Norton Antivirus yesterday evening.
Any idea as to what exactly happened here?
