Recommended option toexport items from online Zotero group

Online Zotero groups allow for items to be selected and exported, for import in to a local Zotero library. The export options are: bibtex, bookmarks, mods, refer, rdf_bibliontology, rdf_dc, rdf_zotero, ris, wikipedia.

Which is the best/recommended option when the import will be in local Zotero database?

    Subscribing to the group and dragging the items across libraries is obviously the best method. You can also just save directly to the Zotero client from the website.

    If those aren't options, rdf_zotero would be the best export format from the API, but you won't get attachments that way.

    In the next version of the website we'll be adding the ability to add items to your own Zotero library (as long as you're logged in) without going through the client. That will be possible on a page-by-page basis, but it's possible we could add the ability to copy larger sets of items or entire libraries as well.
