order subcollections in a user-specified manner
Dear Zotero community,
I have the same question as posted by wsm, which went unanswered (in quotes below). Is there a way to specify the order of my subcollections? The order appears to be preset to alphabetical. I don't see a way to manually change the order. Thanks!

Unfortunately, the drop and drag function does not work when trying to change the order of subcollections. Does anyone have a solution. Thanks. wsm"

aurimasManual collection ordering is not possible. You can prefix collection names with punctuation (e.g. "_zotero" or "!zotero") to force them to order to the top. Forcing ordering to the bottom is more difficult though. Something like "[z]apple" could be somewhat reasonable.

GracileYou can also prefix with figures (that's easier to sort).
