Hopefuly someone will be able to help.

  • That looks like a ScienceDirect translator error. A new version of the ScienceDirect translator will be out soon.

Have you been experiencing other problems? What do you mean by "keeps crashing"?
  • Hi and thanks,

by "keeps crashing" I mean that sometimes it will simply stop working and tell me I need to restart Firefox, then when I do it will load but after I put a reference in it will stop working. Some of this must be due to the translator issue with ScienceDirect, but I have had similar poblems using google scholar also.

    thanks again for your help.
  • You'd need to send in an error report using Report Errors after you get the error message (and before restarting) in order for us to diagnose the problem, but it's likely that you have database corruption and need to run your database through the DB Repair Tool. Assuming you were using Firefox 2 (which had database instability problems) previously, it's unlikely that you'll need to do this again as long as you're using Firefox 3.
