Tagging multiple items

I would like to be able to attach a tag to multiple items not only by dropping those items in a tag, but also by dropping a tag to those items.

    I don't think that's going to happen, sorry. That seems rather confusing to me in terms of selecting multiple items, then selecting&dragging a tag.
    You do know that you can use the number keys to assign colored tags to all currently selected items?
