Zotero Error Msg Alert

When click on Z icon in my browser I get an error msg that reads: Alert! There was an error starting Zotero. What does this mean? I did try to find it in the knowledge base and could not.

I failed to tell you that I have the Firefox browser 38.0.1. Zotero 4.0.26.4. Did I miss an update or something?
