Changing date information

The date information (i. e. news paper articles/letters etc.) works like mm/dd/yyyy. Is there any possibility to change it to dd/mm/yyyy?

Which date information are you referring to specifically? In citation styles, the format is set by the citation style.
In Zotero, it's a bit more complicated. Generally it localizes with the language/locale you install Zotero from, but there are some quirks. on Standalone specifically, see

Thanks, it was the "en-US" vs. "en-GB"-matter.

Next time mankind invents date indication it could be less missleading. :-)
