Punctuation trouble

Hello all,

I'm having a bit of minor trouble making CSL perform the way I'd like it to, and I'm wondering if anyone might be able to help.

Here's an example of what I'm talking about:

Biersack, Aletta (2003) Introduction to the panel "Political Ecology and the Politics of Place.". Chicago: Annual Meeting of the American Anthropological Association, 22. November. Unpublished Paper.

Now, the problem I have is that at this position it should say:
...Politics of Place." Chicago: ...

but instead, due to the way this CSL works, it puts an extra period after the quotes. Now, the quotes are not added in via the quotes attribute in CSL, because only part of the title is in quotes.

I could of course leave out the period in the title field, which makes it look like this:
...Politics of Place". Chicago: ...
but from what I understand, that's wrong.

Is there a way, an option variable in CSL maybe, to disable a suffix if it is included in the title? Or anything else that would help me in this case?

Thanks in advance if anyone can help.
  • This is tricky, but I think it's really up to Zotero to know how to handle cases like this.

Might be somewhat easier if we had support for inline semantic markup.
