Word 2015 for Mac integration

Hi - I have just had a student wanting to use Zotero with Word for Mac 2015. We could not get the add on to work. It is clearly stated on the Zotero documentation that the Word for Mac plug-in is compatible with Word 2004-2011, so I'm assuming this is a compatibility issue. Does anyone have any knowledge or experience with this? Any solutions?

    Zotero is not compatible with the Office 2015 preview and probably won't be for quite some time. More on that here and here
