Solved: APA 6 – Surpress author substitutes title?

Hello,

I just had an unexpected output using APA 6.
This phenomenon has already been described by Richard Avenarius (Philosophie als Denken der Welt gemäss dem Princip des kleinsten Kraftmasses. Prolegomena zu einer Kritik der reinen Erfahrung, 1876, p. 7):
The reason for the tendency to judge about things, the old and the new, how one is accustomed to judge, the cause for frequent customary judgements, lies in the desire of our soul to accomplish an assigned task with the least amount of energy.
I used the "surpress author" function. Instead of only displaying year(and page numbers), the whole title appeared where the author name would normally be.

If have not reproduced it with other entries yet.

Any ideas?

EDIT: Sorry for creating an entry for such a simple mistake on my part. I probably need a coffee.
  • you haven't reproduced it or you haven't been able to reproduce it? In other words, should we be looking for this as a potential general bug, or should we be looking at that particular item to figure out what's going on?
  • SOLVED: The author was set as contributor.
  • right, so suppress author never kicked in. Thanks for the update.
