Only zotfile renamed pdfs showing

Hi
from last one week, I am not able to access many of my pdfs.
I am able to access those which were renamed by zotfile. But, others which were not renamed, are now showing "The attached file could not be found. It may have been moved or deleted outside of Zotero.".

I am sure that all these, pdf's existed and was able to open them a week before.

    do you have ZotFile set to just rename or to also move attached files? (looks like the latter, right?) And you don't have it set up to do so automatically?

    Have you tried clicking the "Locate" button?

    Have you tried searching for those files in the "storage" folder in Zotero data directory?
    www.zotero.org/support/zotero_data

    Is this all on the same computer? You can see those empty dots: Zotero is clearly aware that those files aren't actually available locally.

    I think you are right about zotfile setting about moving attachement. I am attaching a screenshot for the zotfile setting.

    It was not problem with zotfile. Thanks for your guidelines.
    The files were somehow missing from the storage folder in data directory from a particular date in Febraury. I had the backup with me. So copied the folders in to storage folder. This solved the problem.
