Upgrade StorageRetrieve Metadata for PDf not working
Hi there,
seems like the Retrieve Metadata for PDf is not working on my Zotero standalone nor on the firefox plugin. Right click on the .pdf and select 'Retrieve Metadata for PDF' I get an alert 'To use this feature, you must first install the PDF tools in the Search pane of the Zotero preferences.'
The the popping up preferences window states under PDF indexing: 'pdftotext-Linux-x86_64 is NOT installed' and 'pdfinfo-Linux-x86_64 is NOT installed'.
Is there any packet missing in my installation?

dstillmanYou can install the PDF tools from that pane.

sesselastronautThanks for your response! Seems like there's something wrong with my setup. Just discovered that my preference window consists just of a horizontal line and a cancel and ok button. This is on a fresh debian testing installation with zotero. I submit a report and send it to the forum here: https://forums.zotero.org/discussion/47588/preference-window-empty-report-id-248675640/#Item_1
